The sateen weave has this subtle sheen that catches the light beautifully, and the fabric feels denser and more substantial than any sheet I’ve owned. After the first wash it came out even smoother, and sleeping on it feels like a quiet luxury I didn’t know I was missing.
The sateen weave feels impossibly smooth against my skin, and the way it drapes over the mattress makes the bed look effortlessly elegant. I’ve washed it twice already and the fabric only got softer, which is exactly what I hoped for from a Giza 45 cotton sheet.
It’s noticeably cooler to the touch than my old cotton sheets, and the sateen weave is smooth without feeling slippery. Four stars because the flat sheet is a bit more fitted than I expected, so tucking it in takes an extra second.
