The piqué matelassé texture is genuinely lovely—it adds just enough visual interest without feeling busy, and the cotton is pre-shrunk, so it came out of the wash looking exactly the same. My bed looks way more pulled-together now, and the weight is perfect for those in-between temperature nights.
The double-needle stitching gives it such a clean, tailored look on our bed, and the cotton is genuinely soft right out of the package. I've washed it twice already and it hasn't shrunk or lost that crisp matelassé feel, which is exactly what I was hoping for.
The piqué matelassé texture feels a lot more pronounced and luxurious in person than it looks in photos, and the double-stitched edges lie perfectly flat on the corners. I’ve washed it twice already and it comes out of the dryer looking just as crisp as day one.
