Drawing on sculptural forms and how conventional tapered candles are secured, molded, and used, the U Candle by Glaze Studio is a hand-poured, dual burning candle made of 100% white beeswax. It is secured in place by a solid brass holder, which wraps around the base of the U-shape.
I bought this mostly for the sculptural shape and didn't expect it to actually burn so evenly. The dual ends both light fine and it's held up way longer than the cheap tapers I usually get.
The beeswax gives off this faint honey smell while it burns, which I wasn't expecting but ended up loving. It's heavier than it looks too, so it stays put on the shelf instead of tipping. Two wicks means it actually lights evenly, no tunneling so far.
Burned the U shape down to the bend over about three evenings and it kept its curve the whole time instead of slumping into a puddle like my old tapers. Hand-poured beeswax, you can actually see the layers where it was poured.
