SFERRA and Scalamandré unite once more to unveil a truly exquisite bedding collection featuring Luoyang Garden, a signature archival print reimagined for the modern home. Inspired by the famed peony gardens of Luoyang, China—revered for their beauty and symbolism—the design showcases a lush tableau of blooming peonies and delicately fluttering butterflies. Originally adapted from a hand-painted Chinese silk panel in the Scalamandré archives, the motif has been artfully transformed into a soft watercolor composition, evoking the serenity and romance of an ancient garden in full bloom. Printed in Italy on silky-smooth, long-staple cotton sateen, the design offers a mural-like effect, bringing painterly elegance and timeless botanical charm to the bedroom.

The peonies in this print feel like they were pulled straight from an archival painting, and the way the colors shift in morning light is honestly stunning. The duvet cover itself is substantial without being heavy, and it’s held up beautifully through three washes so far.

The print is so crisp and the colors feel like they were pulled straight from a garden painting—it's genuinely beautiful in person. The fabric drapes nicely and holds up well after a few washes, which is more than I can say for other duvet covers I've owned.

The fabric feels cool and smooth the moment you slide in, and that archival print really pops against my white walls. Waking up surrounded by those peonies makes the whole room feel like a garden.
