The classic waffle weave of our thermal blanket is designed with pure cotton to shelter warmth and invite comfort. Pre-shrunk to keep its generous size, it works well with deep mattresses.
I was worried a cotton blanket would shrink and end up too small for my deep mattress, but it washed up exactly the same size. The waffle weave traps just enough warmth without making me sweat.
The waffle texture is just right—not too heavy, but you can feel the warmth tucking in around you. It's held its shape perfectly on our deep mattress after a month of nightly use, which is more than I can say for past blankets.
I’ve washed this blanket three times already and the waffle weave hasn't lost its softness or shape at all. It drapes nicely over our thick mattress without pulling up at the corners, which is rare in my experience.
