The sateen feels almost liquid against my skin, and that macramé lace border somehow makes the whole bed look like it belongs in a five-star hotel suite. I've washed them twice already and they've only gotten softer, which I didn't think was possible.

The macramé lace inset is what sold me—it’s intricate but not fussy, and against the Giza 45 sateen it feels like sleeping in a boutique hotel. Woke up with fewer creases on my face than usual, which says a lot for how soft the fabric is.

The sateen base has that cool, smooth feel you only get with truly fine cotton, and I’ve actually started looking forward to getting into bed at night just to touch it. The lace border is subtle enough to look elegant but not fussy, and after a few washes it’s held its shape perfectly.
