I expected a nice sheen but the drape is what sold me — it hangs so smoothly and feels cool against my skin on humid nights. Washed it twice already and the shine hasn't faded a bit.
The sateen weave has this soft, almost slippery feel that I wasn't expecting from sheets. The drape is heavier than plain cotton, so it hangs nicely on the bed instead of bunching up. Two months in and it still has that subtle sheen.
I've washed these sheets four times now and the drape still hangs just as softly as day one. The sateen has that cool, silky feel against your skin that I keep noticing every night.
