Swapped out my old sateen set for this plain-weave percale and the difference is immediately obvious — it's crisp and cool instead of slippery. First night I actually slept through without kicking the covers off.
Got these for the guest room and immediately wished they were on my own bed, the plain-weave finish is that perfect balance of crisp and breathable. Sheets washed up beautifully with no wrinkles to speak of, and the cool feel lasted all night even with the AC off.
The weave has that classic percale snap when you slide in, and it stayed cool through a humid night without sticking to me at all. I’ve already washed the set twice and the crispness hasn’t faded one bit, which is exactly what I was hoping for.
