Set this on my dining table with a few dried stems and the gold tone warms up the whole room. The rippled surface is subtle in daylight but really comes alive near a candle. Heavier than I expected too, so it doesn't wobble.
The gold color is warmer in person than in the photos, which I actually prefer. Only gripe is that it's lighter than I expected, so I keep it on a low shelf away from the cats. Still, it looks lovely on its own with just a single dried stem.
The faceted rippled surface catches the light way better than I expected, and the gold tone looks warm rather than brassy on my mantel. Only thing is it's lighter than it looks in photos, so I weighted it with a few stones at the bottom. Still a lovely piece for the price.
