The macramé lace inset is what sold me—it’s delicate yet sturdy, and it frames the sheet beautifully without adding any bulk under the duvet. The sateen weave sleeps cool and smooth, and the border detail makes the bed look far more put-together than it actually is.
The Giza 45 sateen base feels almost liquid against my skin, and the macramé lace inset gives it a delicate, hand-finished look that elevates the whole bed. I’ve washed it twice now and it’s held its sheen perfectly, no pilling anywhere.
The macramé lace inset along the border is even more delicate in person—it catches the light beautifully against the silken sateen. It feels like lying on something custom-made for a palace, and the fabric stays cool all night.
