I keep it on the kitchen windowsill with a few tulips in it, and the grey veining in the Carrara marble looks different every time the light shifts. It's genuinely calming to look at, which I didn't expect from a vase.
Heavier than I expected, which I actually love, it feels solid on the mantel. The Carrara marble has these soft gray veins running through it, and even empty it looks good. Filled with tulips it's the nicest thing in my living room right now.
The Carrara marble has real weight to it and the grey veining looks even better in person than in the photos. Only gripe is that the opening is a bit narrow, so I had to trim my stems way down. Still, it's sitting on my dining table and I keep catching myself looking at it.
