The extra-long staple cotton feels noticeably smoother than my old percale, and those scalloped edges make the bed look properly finished without any extra fuss. It washes up crisp with zero wrinkles that matter, which is exactly what I wanted for summer.
The scalloped edges and satin stitch embroidery are what sold me—they make the whole bed look finished without needing a fussy duvet cover. The cotton itself feels genuinely extra-long staple, smooth and substantial from the first night, and it’s held up beautifully through three washes so far.
The percale has that cool, crisp feel you only get with extra-long staple cotton, and the satin stitch embroidery around the scalloped edges looks far more expensive than what I paid. I’m already planning to buy a second set for the guest room.
