Bari is a timeless classic for us: the clean-lined simplicity of its diamond piqué pattern complements most every decorating style, lending a lovely refinement and polish to the bed. This matelassé has a substantial weight, a lustrous sheen, and a softly finished hand.
The matelassé texture gives the bed such a refined, polished look without trying too hard, and it pairs beautifully with our neutral duvet. I also love how the diamond piqué holds its shape after washing—no sagging or bunching, just crisp and clean every time.
The diamond piqué pattern looks exactly as pictured and gives the bed a nice, tailored feel. That said, the matelassé fabric is thinner than I'd hoped, so it doesn't have that plush weight I was expecting for the price. It's fine for warmer months, just not a heavy-duty winter cover.
